New Year's Resolutions

I apologize for being gone for so long. I have no excuses I just didnt want to write anything, I had nothing particularly special to say. Today is the new year (well, its past midnight so technically jan 2nd) so I thought I would document my new years resolutions on the world wide web. I have made hundreds of new years resolutions in the past and so far I have managed to only keep 1 of them, but in my opinion, it was the most important and has since become more of a life mantra and less of a new years resolution : spend time with the people I love.

So, with that as a given, and being the hedonist that I am, spoiling myself goes without saying. I have made 2 main resolutions for 2013 and hope that I can stick to them.

#1 Be Fresh Like One Direction

I must say I have not had the pleasure of enjoying One Direction's musical stylings until this past xmas eve but I have always been a fan of their youthful appearance. I'm sure a lot of you think today is a youth-driven culture with all the pop music and the anti-aging serums. A huge chunk of last year was spent envying Carly Rey Jepsen's youth.. until I realized she was actually older than me. So I guess what I have learned in 2012 is youth is manufacturable and I plan to manufacture a whole hell of a lot of it. From now on, it's one direction all the way. Over New Year's I visited Korea and showed a korean guy a picture of my bunny (as all crazy bunny ladies do) and he described my bunny's eyes with his limited but very fancy english vocabulary as "succulent", ripe for picking. In 2013, I aspire to be as succulent as the redness of the one direction boys' lips and as active and carefree as their ocean-water kicking. ( I bet their breath smells minty 24/7!) I know that before long, I will feel 17 again!

#2 Get Back To Blogging

If any of you are friends with me on facebook or follow me on instagram, you will see my occupation listed as "Penman for hire" which essentially means you can hire me to write anything and most of the time this turns into translation and ghost writing. I have been doing this long enough to appreciate the opportunity to write original content and publish it under my own name. Thus, I have opted back into the blogging world and will hopefully have regular blogs for anybody who cares to read them. My blogs may not be all about nails and bunnies as before but for those of you who are here for that, fret not, because you know nails and bunnies basically make up 99% of my life anyways! :P and now that I'll be one-directioning a lot I may have more interesting things to share with you lot.

Until then, a belated Merry Xmas and Hapy New Year to all who stumble upon this chubby bunny's blog.

xx
